Production Worker/Machine Operator Job Summary

Ball Chain Manufacturing Co., Inc. is currently seeking a reliable, hard-working production worker for the production department of our lower Westchester County-based manufacturing operation. We are a fourth generation, family owned and operated company. As a machine operator in our factory, you will be a valuable part of our team, helping us to meet quotas in a timely fashion, while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Production Worker Duties and Responsibilities

· Operate machines with consistent speed and accuracy

· Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently

· Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care

· Report any machinery issues to management

· Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals

· Maintain a clean and safe work area

· Follow all written and verbal instructions

· Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

· Able to work overtime as needed

Production Worker Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 3-5 years' experience working in industrial production or manufacturing is strongly preferred

· Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals

· Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times

· Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching

· Able to operate industrial machinery

· Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis

· Able to work 8 hour shifts standing

· Reliable and punctual

· Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

· Hourly rate $20.00 - $27.00 / hour, commensurate with training and experience
